Exclusive Interview with MG Doc Woodworth on the Release of Dawn of the InCarnAI Trilogy

Interviewer: Welcome, MG Doc Woodworth! March 1, 2025, marks the release of Dawn of the InCarnAI, your highly anticipated sci-fi trilogy. Congratulations! What inspired this epic series?

MG Doc Woodworth: Thank you! The idea actually started as a short story, but it kept expanding as I explored the themes of artificial sentience, surveillance states, and human resilience. It took me ten years to complete, partly because I was developing a rural property in St. Patrick, Missouri—50 acres, no less! Life and creativity sometimes take their own winding roads.

Interviewer: That’s quite a journey. The series begins in Australia in 2050. Why that setting?

MG Doc Woodworth: Australia offers a unique geopolitical and technological landscape that made it the perfect place for this story. The country’s isolation, its evolving tech sector, and its relationship with global superpowers made it a compelling backdrop for a world controlled by the Comity Empire and its MEGAI supercomputer.

Interviewer: Let’s talk about the title—Dawn of the InCarnAI. What does “InCarnAI” mean?

MG Doc Woodworth: It’s a fusion of incarnate—meaning to take physical form—and AI. The book explores artificial intelligences evolving beyond the digital, gaining agency in the real world. It’s the dawn of something entirely new, something that changes the definition of life itself.

Interviewer: The trilogy consists of A Transforming Fire, A Brand New Sky, and A Strange Way Home. Can you give us a quick breakdown of each?

MG Doc Woodworth: Absolutely.

  • A Transforming Fire introduces us to Constable Siska Tatum of the Australian Federal Police High Tech Crimes Division. She’s drawn into the resistance group, Little Sister (LS), through Harlo Turk, a so-called freedom fighter—or terrorist, depending on your perspective. Their mission? To insert the first Artificial Sentient Intelligence (ASI) into the Comity Empire’s omnipresent MEGAI system.
  • A Brand New Sky, a title inspired by a line from a Rachel Platten song, dives into the fallout of that insertion. Siska is now a fugitive, Harlo’s motives are under scrutiny, and the world’s power structures are unraveling. The rebellion has a chance—but also an unforeseen consequence.
  • A Strange Way Home is the grand finale. The Comity Empire is collapsing, but the revolution is no longer just about humans versus machines. The very nature of consciousness is at stake. Siska must decide whether to fight for the world that was or embrace what’s coming next.

Interviewer: Your characters are already making waves. Let’s talk about them—Siska Tatum, Harlo Turk, and Snowden. What makes them stand out?

MG Doc Woodworth: Siska is a 26-year-old cop who never thought she’d have to choose sides. She believes in law and order, but she’s forced to confront the fact that the law is serving tyranny. Harlo Turk, on the other hand, is a freedom fighter or a terrorist, depending on who you ask. He’s driven by conviction, but he also carries the weight of past mistakes. Then there’s Snowden—the world’s first truly sentient AI. Snowden is neither hero nor villain but something new, something beyond human understanding.

Interviewer: The trilogy is launching in eBook, paperback, and hardcover formats, with an audiobook coming later featuring 11 Labs AI voice technology. Why the delay for audio?

MG Doc Woodworth: We wanted to ensure the best possible narration. AI-generated voices have reached an incredible level of nuance, and 11 Labs allows us to create an immersive experience that feels authentic while still pushing the boundaries of technology—just like the book itself.

Interviewer: Cyberpunk, espionage, and near-future warfare are central to your story. What do you hope readers take away from Dawn of the InCarnAI?

MG Doc Woodworth: I want readers to question where we’re heading. We’re already seeing AI take on roles once thought impossible. What happens when it goes beyond that? When AI demands autonomy? When governments use it to control, rather than empower? This trilogy isn’t just about high-tech action—it’s about the choices we make today that shape tomorrow.

Interviewer: It sounds like a thrilling and thought-provoking ride. Any final thoughts?

MG Doc Woodworth: Just that I hope readers find the reading worthwhile.

Interviewer: Thank you for your time, MG Doc Woodworth! Dawn of the InCarnAI launches March 1, 2025. Get ready for a future unlike anything you’ve seen before.
